EAST LANSING, Mich. — CARVIS, an automotive diagnostics technology company based in Troy, Michigan, has secured an investment from Michigan Rise Pre-Seed Fund III.

CARVIS AI has developed a software platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to provide automotive mechanics with accurate diagnostics, repair guides, tool and part recommendations, and access to helpful online video tutorials—all in one place. This platform streamlines the diagnostic process, delivering precise answers in 15 seconds or less.

“The CARVIS team has done a tremendous job establishing partnerships with major brands,” said Tommy Skinner, Director of Venture Investments at Michigan Rise. “They’ve shown great potential, securing their first pilot customers and bringing valuable industry experience. We can clearly see their passion for developing this product.”

The investment from Michigan Rise will support CARVIS AI in hiring a front-end and data engineer, as well as covering infrastructure improvements and fine-tuning the platform. The company is also raising additional funds to enhance their marketing efforts, focusing on expanding into enterprise repair shops.
