Michigan Rise Pre-Seed Fund III invested in three Michigan-based startups in August 2025, continuing its mission to fuel innovation, support Michigan founders, and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem. These investments highlight the diversity of industries and technologies emerging from early-stage companies across the state.

  • Aries Financial: Commission-free investment platform for trading stocks, options, and cryptocurrencies.
  • CircNova: Biotechnology startup using AI to unlock the potential of circular RNA for new therapies.
  • ConStrat AI: Software that helps construction contractors track costs, manage cash flow, and forecast profits in real time.

“Michigan’s entrepreneurial community is thriving, and these investments are proof of the incredible talent and innovation happening here,” said Jeff Wesley, Executive Director of Michigan Rise. “Our goal is to partner with founders early, giving them the capital, resources, and guidance they need to grow their companies and create meaningful impact.”

Michigan Rise is a wholly owned venture capital subsidiary of the MSU Research Foundation, operated in partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). Michigan Rise provides early-stage funding to innovative companies that have the potential to transform industries and create jobs in Michigan.
