EAST LANSING, Mich. — Bloom, a Detroit-based startup working to build a reliable U.S. supply chain for hardware brands, has received an investment from Michigan Rise Pre-Seed Fund III.
Bloom operates as a marketplace for the electric mobility and hard tech industries, connecting hardware brands with the services needed to bring their products to market. By serving as a central hub, Bloom helps brands of all sizes streamline their operations and reduce costs.
“For hardware companies, the process of scaling and maintaining operations throughout a product’s lifecycle is incredibly complex and expensive,” said Calvin VanderWal, Venture Associate at Michigan Rise. “Bloom is leveling the playing field through its marketplace, which is sure to encourage innovation in American hardware.”
The investment from Michigan Rise will be used to enhance Bloom’s platform and strengthen the company’s technical and operational foundation for future growth.
