EAST LANSING, Mich. — Stunio, a technology company based in East Lansing, Michigan, has secured an investment from Michigan Rise Pre-Seed Fund III.

Stunio’s platform connects businesses with college students for short-term staffing needs. Stunio simplifies hiring, providing businesses with quick staffing solutions and students with flexible work experiences.

“The Company stands at a critical juncture with a scalable, B2B business model that can be replicated across universities and cities nationwide,” said Calvin VanderWal, Venture Associate at Michigan Rise. “Borne out of their experience as college students struggling to find flexible work, the team is incredibly passionate about the product and recognizes its potential to reshape the job market for college students.”

The investment from Michigan Rise will enable Stunio to enhance its platform for business clients, expand sales and marketing efforts to capture the market more effectively, and recruit key team members to support development and customer service.
