EAST LANSING, Mich. — 360ofMe, a Detroit-based company focused on developing a secure personal data exchange platform, has secured an investment from Michigan Rise Pre-Seed Fund III.
360ofMe offers a simple method for securely sharing important data with businesses, family members, doctors, and others that consumers choose. Their unique approach transfers data ownership from vendors to consumers. This empowers individuals to exercise full control over their personal data, while also allowing businesses to gather marketing insights through an anonymous exchange process.
“We’re confident that the team at 360ofMe is taking a viable approach getting their product to market,” said Matt Okoneski, Senior Venture Associate at Michigan Rise. “This platform-based approach presents a significant market opportunity by unlocking the potential for innovative applications at the convergence of diverse data sources”.
The investment from Michigan Rise will facilitate the commercial launch of their product and provide funding for continued research and development.
